Threshold
This second studio session we pushed the record button and went for the threshold.
The Phonons is a collaboration between Siem Nozza & Jurgen Winkel (SONICrider) creating live ambient with a noisy and experimental root.
Escaping Gravity
For those who love “experimental ambient” and low frequencies :-).
Approach: a constant low sound with some modulation tries to keep other uplifting signals unheard. Slowly the gravity lost control and a more open atmosphere takes over escaping the gravity.

PULSAR
The Phonons is a collaboration between Siem Nozza & Jurgen Winkel (SONICrider) creating live ambient with a noisy and experimental root.
As a preparation for an upcoming performance Siem and Jurgen met in the SONICriderSTUDIO where they talked a bit, fired up their instruments and pushed the record button…. The result a 45 minutes “when noise meets ambiance” journey called “Pulsar” was a great starting point for the live performance “Falling Upwards”.

This is the third themed compilation created exclusively by the members of the ambient producer’s. Ambient Online is the most active forum-based community for ambient music producers and enthusiasts on Earth.

THE NDLBR CODE
A live recording (mastered slightly EQ wise) captured at Noodlebar Rotterdam: an experimental sequence without drums driving some VCO to the max supported by physical DIY controller (wheel, pendulum, rotator).
STIMULUZ
“STIMULUZ” was the first SONICrider track released October 18 2014 by a third party “Hooki-Sonic recordings”.
After 4 years SONICrider got the track back and here it is “again” as a re-release (december 1 2018) \0/
Mistake
Mistaken are 4 tracks recorded playing live with selected sounds from Arvid & Marie (Omninout) used as sound sources fed into a modular set up where the sound sources where combined with analog sounds: together processed via filters, granular modules and gates.
Mistakes are an important part of the evolution. Omninaut used part of this EP for their release called “So You Don’t Have The Time”.

LSDice rehearsal for the upcoming performance during Dutch Design Week at “De Fabriek” Eindhoven.
This studio sessions we explored our sounds which will match in a good way creating a techno style that has a live vibe that drives audience into a LSDice style of mental stage….
